The talented artists in the Flipping Art Gallery.

From the highly historical cave art of archaeologist James Q. Jacobs, that graces the backgrounds of these pages, to the shiny Canadian coins of Michelle Grant, the artists in the Flipping Art Gallery are diverse and talented.

Part of the idea of the Flipping Art Gallery is to bring art to people, art that they wouldn't normally see if they couldn't make it to a real-life gallery. These artists have graciously allowed their art, paintings and music to be shown here. All of the work is original, and in some cases it's been modified to fit the T.V. screen. They are truly a patient and generous lot!

W.J.Bradley was born and raised in stunning Banff, Alberta. Her love of the Rockies, and knowledge of the area developed into a painting tour business, "Artistic Journeys" and influences paintings that are patiently layered with glaze after glaze. Her original paintings glow.

Also from the Rockies are John Van Hal, and jfsmith. Clicking on their names will bring you to "reverbnation" where you can listen to or download their tunes! Upcoming performances are also listed. John frequently plays The Blue Dog Cafe in Cochrane. A great night out for those that live near Calgary! jfsmith is now in the Toronto area, lucky Ontarians!!

Steven Hansen Smythe is a composer, writer, and programmer. His work includes over a hundred compositions for industrial videos, radio and television. The composition used by Flipping Art Gallery is over 15 minutes long.
   
Michelle Grant, Calgary's well known yet modest Equine Artist, has had her art grace the cover of magazines, won many awards and has designed currency for the Canadian Mint. Michelle also teaches, at Swinton's Art Instruction in Calgary.

Swinton's Art Supply and Instruction is owned by Doug Swinton. Clicking his name will bring you to his art website, where some of his fabulous paintings are displayed. Flipping Art Gallery is showing new works by Doug, photos that are quite painterly in colour and texture, of old cars seen on outdoor painting trips. Doug is a well known and much loved artist in Alberta's art community.

Nearby Calgary is Claresholm, where long-time Banff artist Alice Saltiel-Marshall now resides. Alice's paintings have long been admired by Erica Neumann, creator of Flipping Art Gallery.(Erica's Blog.) Alice's paintings are just gorgeous. She is represented by Webster Galleries, and more.
